Oops

Have you been to Four Corners? It's the only place in the country where 4 state borders come together in one spot. Turns out even if you've been there, you haven't been there:
Tourists who think they're putting a hand or foot in each of four states at the Four Corners area are apparently missing the mark — by about 2.5 miles. National Geodetic Survey officials say the Four Corners marker showing the intersection of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah is about 2.5 miles west of where it should be.

Maybe the can fix it with stimulus money!

We took a 3-week trip out west when I was 11 or so. I remember going by the four-corners, but it was early in the morning and I didn't want to wake up off the van floor, so I didn't get out. I felt bad about it later.

After all these years of guilt of missing such an event I feel better!
