Defining Man

In a 100 years when anthropologists are trying to define 20th Century man (and I mean the male species, not humankind) they may want to examine these.

      Not all beer ads, but these Miller ads in particular present a picture of what many feel a 20th century man was like.  Hunter, gatherer, provider, eats steak, eggs and bacon, fixes there own stuff, honest and fair, but not emotional.  In other words a man's man.  I'm not suggesting that is what a man SHOULD be, I'm simply pointing out that it seems to me, this is how that society defined a man through at least through the early 80's.
