It's Oscar time again and the nominees are out. Typically, my choices for Best Picture never seem to match up with the Academy. I thought it might be fun to seek out nominations for the our own awards, the PK Choice awards. I'm looking for the following:
Best Picture
Best Actor
Best Actress
Best Comedy
Best Animation
Best Song

I'm an extremely uninformed voter since I have only seen 9 movies produced in 2008. So, based on that, here are my awards:
Best Picture: Vantage Point (creative, unique)
Best Actor: Brad Pitt for Burn After Reading. I rented it tonight but haven't seen it, but he's so handsome...of the movies I've seen, maybe Kevin Spacey in 21. He's creepy.
Best Actress: the little girl in Chronicles of Narnia just because she is cool and has an accent
Best Comedy: What Happens in Vegas had some funny moments
Best Animation: Wall-E is my kids vote...they can't stop watching it
Best Song: You Can't Always Get What You Want from the Stones in 21. Classic.
