Protecting Marriage
If you truly support the sanctity of marriage, than this idea from Matt Yglesias just might be the way to go.
...if you really wanted to do something to shore up the sanctity of marriage then rather than ban gay marriages you ought to ban, say, fourth marriages. It's one thing to say that people who make a mistake ought to get a second chance, but serial nuptials really do make a mockery of the institution's basic premises in a way that same-sex couples don't. Maybe some people just need to admit to themselves that they have no business making promises of life-long commitment.

Bravo, Truthful One! If anyone Googles "Hal Lindsey's many divorces" he or she will find the gory details. Does Hal still think that belief in a 178-year-old, British-invented pre-tribulation rapture is an incentive for "holy living"? Recently he was injured when he somehow fell into his empty swimming pool at his Palm Springs home. Maybe he would have felt better if it had been filled with wine! Am wondering who his No. 5 will be. Flossie
