The death of Dungeons and Dragons creator, Gary Gyrax, has spawned several thousand words on D&D over the last couple of days.  I never played D&D, mostly because my Dad convinced me it was from the Devil, but also because I thought it was for nerds and geeks.

I love this article from Ankle Biting Pundits listing all things that back in the day (80's) were considered geeky.  They include:
